“Searching for Dr Branovic”-just the show to say goodbye to winter.
Rover the cat, Marmaduke the suicidal dog, a Polish doctor, a fraudster with a
bad Aussie accent and a long suffering wife are all foils for the Columboesque
detective Monroe in this fast paced comedy by UK writer David Tristam.
“Searching for Dr Branovic” has all the ingredients of a comedic “who dunnit” -
doors slamming, thrown toasters, false identities, a mysterious Eastern
European and a strange undertaker. Director McCully has brought timing, pace
and, from time to time, a little necessary pathos to this production.
