SUMMARY:THE GREAT VARIETY CHRISTMAS SHOW WE NEED YOU
DESCRIPTION:Calling performers. \n\nDue to Covid\, we had to postpone our fabulous end of the year Theatre Restaurant show\, Piraticus Rex\, till next year. We have a loyal fan base who still want to come for a great night out and so we are producing a show using local entertainers to fill this end of year spot. This is a brilliant opportunity for talented individuals and groups etc to showcase their talents.\nWe are calling for polished\, entertaining acts to perform for a four night only show. Performers must be available for performance dates 1st-4th December and tech week\, (the week prior).\nThe acts will be chosen from auditions either via on-line entry or audition in person (booked by appointment).\nCome on you local talented people\, we know you haven’t been on stage for awhile so here’s your opportunity.\n\nSend your expression of interest through to secretary@dramaleague.org.nz.

SUMMARY:DREAMLAND PROJECT WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:What on earth is a dreamland project?  The dreamland project is a working document for guidelines to help build on what we’ve learned as a society looking back and how we can build and improve on things going forward.\nThese past two years have been hard for theatre groups all over the world but the South Canterbury Drama League keeps positively charging forward and is actually doing really well even under some pretty trying circumstances.\nThe League is nothing without it’s members and supporters so we invite you to join us for this upcoming workshop where we’ll all have a chance to have input into our societies future.\nThe workshop is set up as a brainstorming session at different stations where we discuss everything from programming\, facilities\, membership\, sound and lighting tech\, our people and everything in between. \nCome help write the script to the Leagues future. \nPlease rsvp by the 14th October at secretary@dramaleague.org.nz  Lunch provided.
