Did you know that the origins of The South Canterbury Drama League stemed from a one act play competion?
Held in 1927, 8 teams took part and this year we are bringing one act plays back with the Encore One Act Play Festival. 11th and 12th August 2023.
Not a competition this time around but a chance for local writers to stage their plays at the Playhouse.
